The groundworks for the scaffolding to Taylor House and Stanley House will commence on Wednesday 7-10-26.
This work comprises of digging scrapes 100mm deep x 2400mm long into the grassed areas around the three elevations of each building as part of the scaffold supports.
The formed scrapes will have treated sleepers installed to act as precaution against water under scouring because of potential flooding
The works will require the use of a mini excavator and groundwork machines which will gain access to the areas by going around the rear of Merrivale House and travelling across the grassed zone.
To facilitate access some of the timber fence to the rear of Merrivale may be temporarily removed and then later fully re-instated.
For residents local to Taylor and Stanley House we would expect some noise associated with the machines during 5-7 days from commencement.
